Vernon John Rogers M.Sc P.Eng

V. J. Rogers has over 35 years of experience in engineering, management, business administration and technology development, obtained in Canada, the USA, the United Kingdom and West Africa.
He has managed the Sustainable Infrastructure Society since its incorporation in 2005, and in addition has provided consulting services to various levels of government. He has worked with a variety of organizations, including the Thames Water Authority in the UK, James F. McLaren in West Africa and Ontario, Urban Systems Ltd. in the Interior of BC, the Capital Regional District in Victoria BC, and the National Research Council of Canada.
His experience includes project management, engineering design, and the operation of complex facilities. He has been part of organizations responsible for the planning, design, operation and maintenance of a range of water and wastewater facilities, and has experience of municipal, regional and provincial governments. He holds an Honours degree in Civil Engineering from The City University, London UK, and studied as a Fulbright Scholar for a postgraduate degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources from Utah State University, USA. He is a registered Professional Engineer in British Columbia.
